Problem sending emails

I've been testing my site and I've submitted pixels and it says a validation email has been sent but I never receive any email (I've tried 2 different accounts) but checking the email logs it says they've been sent.So I also tried configuring the SMTP settings, and when I press the Test Email Connection I get an error message. See the attached.Also attached are screen dumps from my Thunderbird email client softeware.Does anyone know where I'm going wrong and how to correct it?Server-Settings.png SMTP-Server.png Error-Message.png

Hi there,Did you get this with the dev snapshot? I updated mail on there at one point. Maybe it has to get updated again.
Yes this issue is with the development build.
Ok I will test it out and fix it up either tonight or tomorrow. If I don't then bug me =)

I've tested mail using the SMTP settings and it seems to work for me. It seems like maybe your web server and mail server can't talk to each other. You likely have to open the proper ports between them.
