write_ad.php not working. Help please.

I finally finished setting up my site with a custom homepage, payment modules and everything good to go, but when i tried testing the script, everything works as expected right up until the "write your ad" page where nothing happens! I tried everything that i could think of, and i even tried going back and checking file permissions for everything. What am i missing? any help would be Greatly appreciated.

Hi there,Do you get any errors in your servers error logs?What are you doing when you say nothing happens? Are you clicking the Save Ad button at the bottom when nothing happens?Which browser are you using?
Hey, sorry for the late reply, but turns out that it was infact my browser. I managed to get past that step by using internet explorer, however the site doesnt work in any other browser. Is there any way to fix this issue? Also once i complete everything i et an error on the final step saying "MYSQL server has gone away", how do i fix this?thanks again!
I am not sure why it doesn't work in another browser, which other browser where you using? It has worked for me in Firefox 3 and 4.The "MySQL server has gone away" is likely a problem with your MySQL server timing out.Here is a proposed fix:http://bogdan.org.ua/2008/12/25/how-to-fix-mysql-server-has-gone-away-error-2006.html
I am using firefox 4, and chrome. The site works fine in any version of IE, but for some reason fails(hangs on the write_ad.php page) in both firefox 3 and 4 (at least for me). Also, thanks for the link and the reply! ill try it out and see if that fixes the problem.
