The script can work with "globals on" or "globals off". Ideally, the script should run with "globals off", as is the default PHP configuration these days. What is Globals? Globals is a technical issue relating to backwards compatibility with PHP. In the old days of PHP 3, all variables that came from outside were automatically initialized as global variables, and were available to the script without any extra programming effort. Since about PHP 4, the designers of PHP decided that having 'Globals On' could be a risk for inexperienced programmers, so they decided that future PHP versions should have 'Globals Off' by default. This resulted in many headaches as many scripts were written to rely on 'Globals On' broke. The Million Dollar Script is compatible with 'Globals On' or 'Globals Off', so this is really not an issue to be concerned about.
Yes. The script can be installed once, however since the grid is placed as an IFRAME, you can place the grid on any web page on any domain.
The validation feature is used to validate the email address to ensure that it was entered in correctly. This makes it harder for SPAM bots and other malicious users to register new accounts. Users are sent a validation email, which they then must validate by clicking on a special link. This will validate their account automatically. Validation emails can be switched On/Off in Main Config. If switched to Off, all accounts will be validated automatically.
The script provides basic click tracking functionality, and is able to track the number of clicks each customer had. When a customer logs in, they will be able to see how many clicks all their pixels had. (This number is an aggregate) The administrator will also have access to a "Top Clicks" list, which lists all the links with the most links, in descending order (highest to lowest)
There is no limit to how many grids you can have. You can create as many grids as you like from the 'Pixel Inventory' menu in the admin. When users go to buy pixels, they will be given a drop down list of the grids to select from. You can easily embed the grids in to your web pages, just copy and paste the HTML code from the 'Get HTML Code' section in the Admin.
